UL Listing

We are being asked by the local AHJ if this unit is UL listed to tie into the building fire alarm system.

The answer is NO, the Room Valet System is NOT UL listed to tie into the building fire alarm system.

This in part is because the Room Valet System does not tie "DIRECTLY" to the fire alarm system.

The Room Valet attaches to the ISOLATED side of a N/O Form "C" Relay.

The relay, which is provided by your Fire Alarm System Installer has to be UL listed and compatible with the Fire Alarm System but the Room Valet is only getting an isolated "Switch Closure" from THAT RELAY which has no impact on the fire alarm system at all.

The Room Valet supervises the wire to that switch/isolated relay contacts but has no connection or communication with the Fire Alarm System at all.
